This unique rose shaped succulent is also known as the ‘Tree Houseleek’, but we much prefer its beautiful Latin name Aeonium. We’ll have to disagree with Shakespeare on this one – a rose by any other name doesn’t sound as sweet!
With its distinctive glossy, waxy leaves shaped into beautiful rosettes their colouring is often a beautifully variegated combination of green and red, adding even more to their rose like appearance.
These easy to care for succulents are slow-growing plants that enjoy warm temperatures and do not need watering too regularly – they prefer their soil to be on the drier side.
